Thank you for considering leaving Colebrook (SouthWest) Ltd a legacy gift in your will.
How to put a gift in your will
If you want to, you can leave a share of your estate, a cash gift or a specific gift to Colebrook. If you have not yet written your will you can discuss the options with your solicitor when it is written. If you already have a will, you can add a codicil form to it (a legal form that allows minor changes to your will). A solicitor will be able to help you with this.
“I have supported a client to attend a gym and go swimming for approximately 8 months. We haven’t seen a great deal of weight loss but physiologically he has made huge progress! He doesn’t get out of breath as easily now and so feels happier walking more in everyday life. Also, considering we were struggling to get him to commit to anything long term before, 8 months is awesome and he really seems to enjoy it so I don’t expect him to stop anytime soon.”
“I supported a client to purchase a PC to further his music career and to gain a 2 year place at DBS studying DJing and music production. Also, clarifying with the respective benefits agencies his position with respect to having a regular DJ slot.”
What your gift will mean to our clients:
-Day trip for clients
-Run a cooking course
-Provide move on packs for clients moving to their first independent home
-Computer equipment to allow clients to learn vital skills for securing employment
-Grants for furniture for clients moving into their first independent home
Smaller donations can help clients
-travel to visit family
-attend events to improve their confidence and social skills
-allow clients to join sports clubs
-help them purchase items for their room
