Our Big Lottery Funded Project currently offers two support groups:
Mental Health Carers Support Group
This group meets twice a month – on the second Thursday of each month from 10.30-12.30 and on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6-8pm at Crownhill Village Hall, 31 Miles Mitchell Avenue, Crownhill, Plymouth PL6 5NL. We offer peer support in a relaxed and welcoming environment with people who understand what it is like to care for a person with mental health issues. Please click here for a flyer that has full details of our meetings.
We have visiting speakers as well as social activities – the people invited to speak are determined by the people attending the group. We also have support from Plymouth Involvement and Participation Service (PIPS) and staff from Glenbourne, so if you have any questions please feel free to come along to one of the drop-ins.

Ex Carers Support Group
We meet at Devonport Library from 2.30-4pm on the second Thursday of each month and on the fourth Friday of the month at the Scope Office, 76 Cornwall Street, Plymouth. The group is for people who have previously been unpaid carers but are no longer undertaking this role due to bereavement or change in their circumstances e.g. their cared for person going into residential care or relationship breakdown.
There are no age limits on this group and all ex-carers are welcome. Please click here for a flyer with details of our meetings.
The group is an opportunity to get help and support in all aspects of life as well as an opportunity to try new skills and activities.
If you would like more information on either of these groups please contact Helen on (01752) 211243 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
