The summer has been a busy time for the organisation and in particular our new supported accommodation service and the team. In April 2013 we launched the new project working with people who receive direct payments and we are pleased to say that the project is full with many more potential clients approaching us for support. Using our own properties and working with housing associations, we are now looking at creating more projects to meet the need. Di and the team have worked hard to create a homely environment and turn the project into a place where people access more than just support to maintain independent living. They are attracting funding for small projects, creating a social network and working in partnership with others (such as MINDs recovery college) to create a holistic service for people living there.
